Yes, and the guilty people break down into two categories; the ones who KNEW that Biden had dementia and was therefore unfit to be president but voted for him anyway because of insane leftist partisan politics and those people so inately STUPID that despite all of the blatant signs of dementia they BELIEVE both their leadership and the fanatically leftist-loyal mainstream media when they swore that there was nothing wrong with Biden's brain. Both are equally guilty . . . but for different reasons.

that depends if the strawman news being told by a puppet is actually legitimate...

... you're... you're drumming up concern that... what, that the executive branch of government is being carried out by officials appointed by the president, not the president personally doing all the tasks of the executive government?

Have I got that right? That's what you're worried about here?

That's the weakest deflection I've ever encountered. It means what it said, most people believe that Biden is too incompetent to perform the duties of president, and therefore the office is being run by UNKNOWN people who were NOT elected to the office. Care to play a second round of . . . silliness?

I agree. Thinking people comprehend the point of the meme AND the fact that nowadays more and more people are starting to think in the face of Joe Biden's obvious signs of ever increasing dementia. It's now a presidency of shadow figures that people have got to guess about. Joe Biden is now nothing more than a cue card or teleprompter reader with the POWER to sign his name to documents . . . after he has been ordered by a handler to do so.

His duties are to manage the administration. A certain amount of administrative delegation is a part of the job. Every president since George Washington has done that, including the ones you like. Is this news to you?

"It means what it said, most people believe that Biden is too incompetent to perform the duties of president, and therefore the office is being run by UNKNOWN people who were NOT elected to the office."

Even when explained to you thesis, you double down! If it wasn't about such a pathetic (and easily predicted) situation, one that means our country is in peril, what you're saying might be considered humorous, by some.

Wow! Second ever lamest deflection. You are on a roll! He cannot manage anything . . . or at least the majority of people polled now believe that to be the truth about Biden. The collective Left deliberately put a dementia patient into the Oval Office . . . and are now reaping the political repercussions. Enjoy.

And you seem to think we don't know who his appointees are. We actually do. There's nothing secretive about that. There's a whole list.

This doesn't sound like a misconception there majority of people have - I think it's honestly just you.

You may know who they are, but Joe doesn't. Well, he knew fleetingly... but now he's forgotten.

I think he does good just getting his socks on in the morning. He was a national embarrassment on the world stage when JIll had to grab him in front of world leaders and tell him to focus while pulling him off...He isn't fit for office, something everyone in the admin knew, which is why they put the 25th amendment out there toward the end of Trump's term...to pave the way for Harris, or whoever ends up replacing him.

The 25th Amendment was ratified in 1967 so you might have to explain what you're talking about.

"The bill, Democrats say, will create that body to help determine the fitness of the President. The proposal was formally introduced Friday by Pelosi and Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland. At a news conference announcing the measure, Pelosi insisted that the legislation would apply to future presidents, rather than Trump."

They knew what was coming.

That was more about the president at the time who was known for going off on a tantrum and being unreachable while he sulked every time Alec Baldwin dressed up as him or something. It wasn't about your bigoted views on dementia, it was about what do we do when the president literally doesn't want to do his job?

"Pelosi insisted that the legislation would apply to future presidents, rather than Trump."

Yeah, no. They knew the bill couldn't be passed while Trump was in office...and of course, there are her own words. They knew they had a lame duck and just needed to see if they could bypass the president's cabinet to get rid of future presidents protected by loyal cabinet members.

Copy and paste the direct quote. "He will face the judgment of the voters, but HE SHOWS THE NEED for us to create a process for future presidents."

In other words: WHAT DO WE DO WHEN THE PRESIDENT IS A MANBABY? So, basically what I said. Exactly what I said.

Okey dokey then. Doesn't change the fact that they were looking at Biden and not Trump, which was the original point of my post.

Yes, actually, it does. It does change your premise quite a bit.

How many predictions are you going to make before you start to notice that they don't come true?

Well, question for you then: why didn't y'all support this bill at the time? Why weren't you hungry for this, given that you might have a potential Biden on your hands and given your super awesome knowing the future powers (apparently)?

My understanding is that this was just a bill, not an amendment; therefore, a bill that was seeking a way around the Constitution.
[deleted]

The Constitution is just a framework. In fact, if you look at the text of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, it explicitly says "Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body AS CONGRESS MAY BY LAW PROVIDE"

It explicitly says it's up to Congress to pass a law defining who gets to execute this clause.

It therefore CANNOT be working around the Constitution to do exactly that. The Constitution gave Congress the authority to assign this power. It cannot be unconstitutional to do what the Constitution says by definition!

We (I) don't support any bill that seeks to circumvent the Constitution. Simple as that. House Democrats were trying to grab more power not allocated to them for the sole purpose of helping them remove a president. It was dangerous, and, considering a possible house change in the next election, a move that would backfire on them. Biden should be protected by the Constitution just like Trump or any other president.

....it IS in the Constitution. That's what "amendment" means.
[deleted]

The Bill, would establish a process to effectively give Congress a say in removing a president from office under the 25th Amendment of the Constitution, which allows for a president to be removed from office if a majority of Cabinet members and the vice president consider him unable to carry out his duties.

Pelosi wanted a majority Congress to have a say in how the 25th Amendment was applied..

What an intellectually insincere argument. It doesn’t matter if the President can’t do the job. Unnamed and unelected people will
Do it for him. Your a hypocritical fool.
