For years after Bill Clinton left office, I knew people who would still pick on him, and even Hillary. I told them to let it go. Of course, Hillary made all that all but impossible by losing in her bids for the presidency at least twice.
I would give you the same advice when it comes to Trump. Let it go.
But you won't, because you can't. You can't quit him! Why is that? Your biggest fear is that he'll run in 2024 and with a fair election, he'll win again, like he did in 2016. That's why the attacks haven't stopped. But if your overlords at the DNC and MSNBC stopped, you'd stop. That's just how you operate.
