Well that was certainly interesting. Given it pretty much isolated the housing market as the lever on the floodgate, so to speak, I see no reason why it should be assumed the wave coming into TX should particularly vote against its policy as it relates to that market, at least...part of the lower prices is obviously terrain, since Cali is easily prettier than Texas, but part of it has to stem from the arguably better low-regulation legislative approach as well.
All I know is that here in MT the folk who came in turned this state ruby red...used to be that the Democrats and Republicans always battled mightily for the upper hand in the state despite constantly going red Presidentially...it's an interesting quirk that a couple of interesting books have been written on. This last election cycle though the Republicans, and especially the harder-line wing of the party, completely dominated at every level.
Personally that suits me just fine, but I do wonder where everyone came from..we got so many people the Census gave us a second House seat for the first time in history, which is insane for a state with an intense love for public lands and few people living near them. 😂
