The best debates are between Donald Trump and Donald Trump.

I'm not sure they're the best, but they are better than taking LSD and then hitting oneself in the head with a hammer.

Shitcago? Lol. Home of major companies, museums, art, universities, institutions, fantastic restaurants. I love to visit.

Home also to rampant income and wealth inequality that someone should do something about. But that’s equally true of every city in America. 40+ years of Reaganist economics will do that.

Rural America also has its natural wonders, and very fine people, but it ain’t always a pretty picture either.

Wealth inequality? Yes, heaven forbid that someone actually get what they work for. How much are you giving up?

Wealthy people who aren’t jerks give money away to charity by the bucketload and don’t mind paying more in taxes. They understand we live in a society, everyone has needs, and money makes the word go ‘round.

However, not every wealthy person is kind and benevolent. Many follow the Ayn Rand school of thought which holds that it’s a moral sin *to* help people.

And so does the Republican Party.

Nice generalization.

1. Were the cities historically controlled by fiscal liberals or conservatives during the majority of their growth?

2. Which states comprise the list of "poorest", and is that moniker indicative of economic performance that is actually subpar or simply because the state's nature lends itself to a relatively low-powered economy? (I.E my state of Montana...we're not exactly an economic powerhouse, but that's because a lot of the state is wilderness/ranch land. Raw material production is the name of the game, and that doesn't result in big cities or anything like that.
