Well now I'm just curious...why do you prefer Biden to Obama? I admit I'd never have guessed anyone on the left would take that stance.

I don't necessarily consider myself on the left. I'm not fond of the one-dimensional left/right political spectrum. In fact, I think conservatives have some decent points regarding taxes, guns, and abortion, though I don't completely agree with them.

Anyway, I think Biden's been much more aggressive than Obama regarding stopping the destruction of the environment and fighting white supremacy, which I believe are two of the most important threats we face.

That's fair enough. I get categorized as a right winger despite being very liberal in some ways l, notably on the environment. Props to Biden for his work there, incidentally.

We've been dealing with nonsense like that since Grant first took down (temporarily, albeit) the KKK. Polls consistently show the nation has only grown more supportive of equality for all over the decades, and I don't expect that trend to reverse because one President got media coverage for an organization that's mild by comparison.

Biden may say a few good things here and there, but he doesn't seem to have much in the way of actual policy to offer and I for one hardly consider that worth elevating him over a President who actually proved there was no role in the nation blacks couldn't achieve.
