I agree that grammar is not racist and is merely a modern convention of language that should be taught.

I also agree that *most* modern American success stories had to do with capitalism.

However, being born into a rich family or community does help someone get ahead, and that's been proven time and time again. And because white people have been here and been landowners longer, naturally they might be born with greater advantage. There's also latent racism in some communities that hasn't dissolved. Hence, there is evidence for 'white priviledge'. That said, opportunities have opened up tremendously for people of color over the past half a century. We just have to keep that ball rolling all the way to the end now.

That 'white privilege' doesn't apply to every white person the same way every black American isn't descended from American slaves. Yet CRT pushes generational guilt even to 1st or 2nd generation white Americans.

I agree. It's something to be aware of, but it's not a huge problem. It's a product of our history that's gradually phasing out. And that phasing-put is, in and of itself, a demonstration of progress.

I am glad we agree on most points, Aqua. But if we are to single out ONE race over other races of people who have immigrated & integrated into America and give them special privileges (including reparations), it does a disservice to other races. Whites cannot be held accountable for the advantage of being born here and be labelled as having 'white privilege'. I mean, it is like saying English people should give reparations to Muslims who move to England.

As you say, "opportunities have opened up tremendously for people of color" (as well they should) but cannot come in the form of "reverse racism". Respect is earned and if a group puts their fists in the air in disrespect for America, destroys our cities, demands/forces Socialism/Communism upon us, and attempts to change everything that is normal & good, patriots will react and progress will be stymied.
