Well, the deal was a sweet one to begin with. His lawyers knew all he had to do was testify in a civil suite, write a check for damages in that suite, and viola, free man.
Dont worry, all of you roofers, landscapers, and normal white collar guys, you would get that same sweet deal, I am certain the public defender is still looking for your loophole, they just havent found it yet. Hang in there, just a few more years.
