There's no law I'm aware of that discriminates based on race, sex, ethnicity, etc. that Republicans champion... though Democrats attempted to pass one in CA as of last year (CA Prop. 16; it was narrowly voted down).

Your meme makes sense only in the context that Democrats "helped end slavery" by losing the Civil War. To be honest, that DID help a lot.
