I think we aren’t explaining it advertising it right. Americans are selfish, so we have to appeal to that. The truth is we aren’t destroying the planet, just making it inhospitable for us. We are causing a mass extinction event that will include us! Yes, the earth would warm up in its own. Climate change would happen without us, we are not causing it. We are only speeding it up, and we need to slow it down to survive

Although I do think we are causing it this go round. The climate goes up and down on its own, but who can say what it would be doing without our 33 billion metric tons of carbon per year (per https://www.eia.gov/environment/emissions/carbon/ ).

I consider people dying of heat stroke because global warming is ignored to be extreme. Bodies of the homeless are piling up.
