We don't have yankees in southern Cali. They had a Juneteenth lunch at IKEA and the all white committee got fried chicken, collard greens, and watermelon. People were pissed because it was so stereotypical. A bunch left for the rest of the day and a few quit. They should have maybe included some black employees in the decision. At least it wasn't pizza, yet again. Those yellow melons are supposed to be excellent. If they're gonna serve watermelon at least get the gourmet, organic one. Maybe they should have just stuck with the swedish meatballs.
