that is what mainstream media says, but if you actually read the details of H.R.1 bill on the gov't official "congress.gov" site, you will find that the federal gov't appoints a commission that is in charge of election, requires automatic voter registration, without ID and prohibits all states from voter ID and prohibits states from ever purging their own voter registration rolls (i.e. dead people will remain on the voter registration list), provides for same-day voter registration (again without ID or address verification), prohibits election recounts, prohibits any lawsuit against election violation and more.
