Hah. It’s true that organizations that have fallen into as deep of a rut as the GOP have a tremendously difficult time reforming. Inertia tends to carry the ship forward until it runs aground. Like the Soviet Union of the 1970s-80s.

But, the chances that top-level Democrats raped and drank the blood of children in the basement of a D.C. pizza parlor that doesn’t even *have* a basement are nil. Absolutely nil.
So, chances of the GOP reforming are at least better than that.
And I really do hope the Republican Party pulls it together. Really, I do. Because our Republic can’t thrive or even survive with half of the country living in la-la land.
