I think it's presumptuous of humans to believe we are the most intelligent beings to exist. I believe God created the universe and there are limitless possibilities of the types of beings He could have fashioned. I just don't think that we are meant to find other intelligent beings until we can live and get along with our own kind and care for the planet we already live in. Maybe it's for those ET beings'protection more than for ours. Great question!
It is also possible that life could exist where our physical laws don't apply. Such life, however intelligent, might not be able to communicate with us on our level, or we on theirs.
Probably because we’re too primitive for them or they’re not advanced enough to leave their solar system en mass or they don’t have FTL travel like hyperdrives and Warp-drives.
Well, the fact is, if aliens are real, it would take a heck of a long time for them to get here. And we haven't even gotten as far are Mars other than an unmanned robot. The sheer space between us makes such a meeting pretty unlikely, until we can go a LOT faster.
Well, for all we know, aliens could be millions of years older and have way more advanced technology than us. It's safe to say that they could easily travel at light speeds

If you think the world has been around millions of years, it's possible.
Nope - not millions. Billions. Overwhelming evidence suggests that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Of course, this is an estimate - it's possible that this number is off by half a billion.

There is no perfect fossil record. In 70 years, the estimate has changed billions of years. This is not science. It's not based on observable evidence.
because it would be like me hearing scottish ants to come and check out there anthill for that is prolly how the aliens would see us for earth was made 3 billion years after the big bang and humans have been around for nearly noyhing well our species anyway, so they would be so advanced it wouldn't be worth there time.
There’s a hot layer of plasma surrounding our solar system, most likely the reason visitors have been deterred. And if that fails, there is a second line of defense known as the great asteroid field
1 billion trillion stars in the observable
universe... There must be other
intelligent life out there. Why do you think we haven't met intelligent extraterrestrial life yet?
