But you can understand how when they clear the park and the president (who is normally treated as higher than everyone else) takes a photo in the same park, it's easy to assume that they cleared the park so the president could take that photo, yes? I'm not saying that's what ACTUALLY happened, just that it's easy to assume that the two events are correlated if you have limited information on the matter.

Those who report the "news" cannot report their assumptions instead. They have a real obligation to dig to the truth

The nation's media outlets 'assumed' because they are fanatically loyal to the Dem Party. One hours's worth of investigation WOULD have told them the truth back then, but they refused to do their actual job. Leftists did not hold THEIR media outlets responsible for telling them the truth because leftists prefer comforting lies to the truth.

No, you misunderstand my point of view. I do not think this misinformation is any better than Trump’s. I just think it is easy to assume that that was why what happened at Lafayette park happened, not that you should assume.
