Wikipedia says this:
"Critical race theory is loosely unified by two common themes: first, that white supremacy, with its societal or structural racism, exists and maintains power through the law; and second, that transforming the relationship between law and racial power, and also achieving racial emancipation and anti-subordination more broadly, is possible.
Critics of critical race theory argue that it relies on social constructionism, elevates storytelling over evidence and reason, rejects the concepts of truth and merit, and opposes liberalism"
The last sentences says it "opposes liberalism". They are talking about classical liberalism or what is today called conservatism. It is directly in opposition to "free markets, free trade, limited government and individual liberty" (also Wikipedia).
It and Critical Legal Studies are "rooted" on Critical Theory.
Wikipedia: "Critical theory is a Marxist approach to social philosophy that focuses on reflective assessment and critique of society and culture in order to reveal and challenge power structures."
Critical theory challenges the social class structure or in other words it pits the poor against the rich. Critical Race Theory changes that to make white supremacy the "rich" and blacks the "poor".
Like I said it thrives on division. Dividing the poor against the rich and blacks against whites. This is exactly why you and every other left leaning person on ImgFlip and anywhere else are convinced that white supremacy is a conservative construct. No matter how many times I or anyone else tells you (the generic you, not you specifically) that conservatism has nothing to do with white supremacy or even race the left will not accept that.
It is very simple. Just like Wikipedia's definition of liberalism said the core of what conservatives believe is free markets, free trade, limited government and individual liberty. All of that applies equally to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, social standing, religion, lack of religion, etc.
