WEF - they meet every year. Yes they try to guide the world economy and yes they hope to benefit from it. Nothing has changed there. It is the wealthy trying to steer the the boat in relation to how things go. Right now its climate policy and COVID recovery. Those are the issues of the day and it is what they focus on. Lead, follow, or get out of the way - they want to lead.

True, but the man behind the curtain has been there for a long time. They aren't necessarily malicious - they just want to benefit. It isn't fair, but they are mostly just setting the pace and trying to control and guide. It's like advanced insider trading.

I say “they” as if I even know who “they” are, exactly. But I can feel the monkey on my back.
