I could envision Joe Biden pointing a finger at his photograph and bellowing, "You did not vote for me and so you ain't Black!" No doubt all of our leftists . . . would cheer.

You also missed that it happened when Trump was in office... and invited the Dorn family to the White House at that time... so the reference to Biden, in all of his colossal stupidity, is irrelevant and besides the point. What happened to (Ret) Capt. Dorn was thoroughly fu***d up though. I hope Stephen Cannon is found guilty and spends his life in jail... or the swifter alternative, though I don't think it meets the threshold for capital punishment in MO.

I mentioned Biden because democrats go outta their way to get on their knees for black criminals, like Floyd. But when a black hero dies.. crickets.

That's absolutely the case... we agree. My only point was that, if your argument involves something incorrect or misleading, it can/will be discounted using logical fallacies. It's the way progressives and liberal-arts majors have been "winning" arguments for the past decade... I'm tired of seeing people setting their arguments up for failure. It's a solid meme though... I hope than more than the Dorn family continue to remember Capt. Dorn.

yea, I always try to attempt to make my points without logical pitfalls. But I have yet to ever encounter a liberal or leftists that uses logic to win a debate, usually it is emotional rhetoric or just plain denial of facts, in their arsenal.

6 guys rolling up to a pawnshop and robbing it is criminals taking advantage of the situation. They didn't care about protesting or BLM - they were just in it for themselves. There is no reason to suspect they were BLM supporters other than the color of their skin.

Most BLM supporters are white liberals.. so, really ? the color of their skin? f**king racist.

Most Americans are white, so that's true. You assume that these guys were politically motivated. Is everyone who protested in DC responsible for what the ones who rioted did? No.

The attempt to make this something more than an intrtupted robbery is transparent and inaccurate.

if this was an isolated incident, you could be on to something , but since he is one of more than 20 victims related to BLM supporters - well, I am just stating the obvious at this point, and you are simply doing your best to defend BLM.

Around 25 people have died 'associated with BLM protests', but many (most?) of those have been protesters and many times the person who pulled the trigger wasn't a protester. That number includes the two people killed by Rittenhouse, the two cops killed by the guy who was part of the Boogaloo movement, a protester in Louisville shot by a homeless man, the guy in Louisville who had a food truck operating after curfew and shot by police, etc.

And can we acknowledge that there have been months of protests, 2000 cities, ~25 deaths. Jan 6th -> 1 day, 1 city, 2+ deaths (I think the gunshot and the lady trampled count at a minimum). So, property damage yes - a pattern of homicides? No.

There are so few deaths, you can conceivably look them all up to verify.

I love that you put values on each individuals life that died .. this one kinda counted, but only at a minimum lmfao btw My position is f**k BLM , f**k antifa and f**k anyone that stands with them.

I am shocked that you would attempt to misrepresent what I'm saying (not really).
I'm not putting values on them, I'm pointing out that many of the deaths associated with BLM protests weren't committed by BLM protesters. Also, given the number of people involved in the BLM protests vs the capitol, the MAGA riot has a much higher fatality rate. (deaths / number of participants).

yea I got you, your trying to quantify the deaths by saying the 25 deaths are not as bad as the 2 deaths because the 2 happened in one day, which is f**king ridiculous, in total the Jan six riot caused 2 deaths , in total BLM riots caused 25, that is the end result, no matter how you try to spin it. My meme represents one death of a good man - and that his death outweighs every scumbag floyd 's death out there.

Thanks for circling back to the point - Black Lives Matter. We don't get to decide which lives matter more or less. Captain Dorn was a good man by all accounts. George Floyd, by many accounts, was not.

Equal protection under the law and protection from cruel and unusual punishment apply to people regardless. Chauvin is going to jail, and hopefully the guy who killed Dorn does too.

I agree you with you 100%, im actually glad we ended this thread on agreement. You are eloquent in your points and well spoken. I hope I was not too overly rude to you. its been a very bad day and I should not take it out on people online.

A little... But we've all been there. Staying as civil which I try to do isn't always easy. I actually apologized to somebody the other day in similar fashion.

Yeah, he's black, but the fact that blm killed him, makes his death irrelevant. Double standards. However if he had been killed by a white person, blm probably would have called for all whites to nuked.
0 ups, 3y
"All whites to be nuked" - Nice hyperbole.

BLM protests have almost exclusively been to bring attention to perceived police overuse of force. Have they killed any of the cops that were let off? Lynched anyone? Any mob justice? You have random people talking about it, there have been fights that have broken out and obviously a few dozen people died. But has there been a pattern of mob justice? And lets be honest - they have had the numbers to make it happen on multiple occasions. While I think looting and vandalism are wrong (morally and strategically), the fact is people have always rioted when they feel like the government is not offering them justice. Our country got its start due to the Boston tea party and Boston Massacre. Even Jan 6th is no exception. While I think they were there protesting and then rioted based on a lie, I acknowledged that they believed the lie and were acting on that belief.

But the case mentioned in the meme - they were committing a robbery with the protests as a backdrop. Other than its convenient to the narrative to have a black cop as a victim, what actual link is there to BLM in his murder?
