As John already said, you don't "rectify" a situation by killing your problem. Now you've got two problems, which are a dead human being and another one in trauma. The baby has to be born, but NO ONE is saying she shouldn't get every iota of support needed to get through such a situation. And, to address your last point, NO ONE is saying she needs to keep the child or in any way care for it; we have a foster system for a reason. It's a sucky system that needs serious help, but it exists to be used for a reason.
