I was late to my own wedding, let's just say I'm rarely early. Any advice to improve on that?

I'm usually early or on time...my wife on the other hand has to be told her appointments are 30 minutes before they actually are so we're there when we're supposed to be, lol. Ever heard the country song "waiting on a woman"? Yeah, that's us...

My advice, dont assume you have time for anything else, just go ahead and get yourself ready. It's better to be dressed and ready to go, only to sit for 10 minutes before you actually leave.

Sit for 10 minutes? The last time I had 10 minutes free I was between contractions giving birth to my first born, lol.

Lol, you mean you actually have distractions? Make them plow the field before getting ready for anything, they'll thank you for the opportunity to stop and get dressed, eagerly awaiting your every command. Punish blowouts with more plow time.

On a more jovial note, yall should watch "yes day" if you haven't yet, it's a more or less wholesome movie that embodies parenthood, making you sympathize and feel hope but at the same time may give you a parental coronary. We just watched it tonight on Netflix.

I think a little too much 'plowing of the field' might be the root problem here ironically...

Yea that wouldn't work, my son lives in the dirt, he would sleep in it if I let him. He's a dirt magnet.

Believe me, I am a homebody but sometimes you just have to leave the house for like essentials like to buy food, or see the doctor or do other adulting things. Especially when it requires getting 5 people ready. Small people who could care less about wearing pants and can never find their shoes. Lol.

I was referring mostly to events and parties (though I suppose one can be late to the grocery store) I always feel out of place and exhausted afterwards so I avoid them outside of family holidays.

Punctuality isn't my strong suit.

Actually, my Grandma was late to her own funeral because someone who shall remain nameless forgot to bring her urn to the church. 🤦‍♀️
