Congress has all the video captured by survellience cameras in and around the Capitol.
Don't need a stinkin' "commision" to investigate what you already know.

Arizona and Georgia has the results of previous audits and recounts.
Don't need a stinkin' farce of an audit run by Trump supporters and conspiracy theorists to investigate what you already know.

I want another congressional investigation, because the news tells me that's what I should want. The Republicans of course are the bad guys so whatever they oppose I'm for. I'm such an easily manipulated puppet.

You don't want another congressional investigation because you believe all mainstream media is fake news and whatever the party of Trump opposes you're for. You're such an easily manipulated puppet.

Maybe you aren't very old but in the case of the 9/11 commission we lost our rights and swelled the size of government. DHS gets 600 billion a year. They didn't exist when I was a kid. NSA spying also was under the radar and now it is something people know about bit do nothing about.

It's so cool how you try to link people to Trump as if thats some sort of automatic win because you are a braindead and useless automaton photo print of the media's perfect citizen. I didn't vote for Trump and the only Republican I ever rallied for was Ron Paul back when he was the only one against the Iraq War. But keep trying to pretend you are the one who thinks deeply or for themself. We both know that's untrue.

I'm perfectly aware of what happened after 9-11 and the NSA spying. I'm also aware that correlation does not equal causation, while you apparently are not. If the government expanded every time there was a commission or an investigation, it would be of Brobdingnagian proportions compared to what it is now. If your only argument against a January 6th commission is your fear of bigger government, it's a weak one. And by the way, not all of the Republicans in the House voted against the commission. 35 of them managed to find some measure of fortitude and vote for it. If you're gonna try to troll me, numbnuts, get your facts straight.

If you're trying to call me out for strawmanning, I'd just like to point out that you did it first and are no better for it. And you're even further off the mark. At no point did I mention you voted for anyone on particular, my reference to Trump was meant as a counter to your apparent opposition to investigating an attack on the Capitol building that was clearly instigated by Trump and his voter fraud lie.

Do you really think engaging in personal attacks just because the other person isn't completely aware of your political leanings makes you some kind of master debater? I've seen this kind of baiting on the politics stream often. But keep pretending you're somehow a deep thinker just because you refuse to accept anything that doesn't fit your narrative.

Wow you brought in causation vs Correlation and strawman. Clearly you have no intrinsic value and have to rely on braindead tools to argue. Also at least I am insulting people personally whereas you do it backhanded by insinuation through you support Trump or you are a conspiracy theorist. I mean you spent 90 percent of your dribble on deflection instead and 10 actually trying to argue my point.

Secondly government expansion isn't all. This will be an effort to silence dissent and reduce access to dissenting voices. It will be the government nad not just the elite through corporations shutting down any website, news outlet etc not deemed progressive.

It doesn't help your case when you start off with and continue personal attacks, as you have done. You want to talk deflection, let's talk about the fact that your original response to my meme doesn't even address the point I made. You just went into attack mode straight off.

And now you're actually bragging about insulting people up front as if you haven't done it in a backhanded way.

I already addressed the whole thing about Trump, so feel free to shut the hell up about it now.

And as for being a conspiracy theorist, I didn't say anything like that, but it's apparent I don't have to since you're sounding like one completely on your own.

My original point was to address how all lefties have opinions tailor made by the mainstream media. Righties are similar, just watch Ben Shapiro and you can guess what the right memes will look like. My original intent is to get you to think for yourself and not merely perk up when you hear that the Republicans oppose something. It's an easy way to manipulate through hate. It's 1984 in action, and the news is the two minutes of hate but it's 24/7.

And technically my attack is indirect. It attacks opinions through sarcasm. Just like your meme attempts to do. I called the left puppets, you called the right hypocrites, that's how politics work.

Okay, now you're the one making assumptions. You assume that if I disagree with something the Republicans do, it's merely for opposition's sake and/or that I'm being manipulated by the media. Typical conservative claptrap, if it's on the media I must be a puppet.

Have you considered that maybe the Democrats are right to ask questions about the attack on the Capitol building? That maybe the deployment of National Guard troops being delayed warrants even a little suspicion? Why is it so hard for Republicans to help make a bipartisan effort to find out all the facts?

And by the way, I'm nonpartisan. Not a liberal or conservative. But I know you'll just believe whatever you want to anyway.

At most it rises to the level of a minor riot contained quickly when compared to other mostly peaceful demonstration of late.

Except it was clearly an insurrection brought on by weeks of Trump's lies about voter fraud, aimed at attempting to interfere with the electoral vote count and overturning the election.

What was the intention of the riot? Hang mike pence, kill Nancy Pelosi, and stop the steal. The riot didn't have looting and destruction as its intended actions, it was intended to stop the election, and kill members who would not oppose the certification of the election.
The video shows that.

Now, let's find out who else WITHIN Congress was supporting intended actions....

You related to Joe McCarthy?

Nope. So can answer what the intended outcome of the mostly peaceful protest at the capital was? Were they trying to raise awareness of something?

I'm sure there were many intentions among the people in attendance. Was the intention of everyone at last years BLM mostly peaceful protests to loot and burn? No.

You are right, it raised awareness of police brutality.

What did the capital riots do? Nothing came out of it. You made my point!
0 ups, 4y
It raised the level of dissatisfaction with many people throughout the country. Got you attention. I don't support entering the capital as they did.
