He wasn’t found guilty. Please show proofs. When did they announce the results of the trial? Oh wait there was no trial.

Partisanly, on a technicality.

"Technicality"? What exactly was the "technicality"? And do you realize that the impeachment push against Trump was largely "partisan" as well?

The insurrection he incited was certainly partisan. As was asking the President of Ukraine to investigate his election opponent.
When Trump was impeached, McConnell announced that it couldn't be brought before the Senate until after Trump left office. Then McConnell and several other Republicans declared that they would vote no because Trump was no longer in office, while simultaneously declaring him guilty.

You're discussing two separate impeachment pushes, both of which were quite partisan in nature. Virtually everything the Democrats initiate *is* partisan. In both impeachment trials, there were votes in the Senate, and they voted "Not Guilty". If you want to argue that Republicans were partisan in their *response* to the Democrats' initial partisanship, then I will agree with that.

However, I still don't understand where a "technicality" comes in to play. The decisions to acquit did not come down to "technicalities".

It literally did - McConnell voted no despite declaring Trump guilty because he had left office.

Ok, so you are referring to McConnell, who said that he thought the Senate lacked jurisdiction, and that it would be unconstitutional to convict. Senator Blunt also considered it "unconstitutional". Yes, I suppose these would be "technicalities" if members thought the proceedings were not in accord with the Constiution, but that would be a pretty substantial 'technicality". However, other senators, such as Cruz and Hawley, said that they did not find convincing the argument that Trump somehow did something wrong.

So in other words, Republicans acquitted because they thought the impeachment was unconstitutional and/or they did not think that Trump commit deeds worthy of being convicted.

The impeachment was the House vote.
McConnell specifically delayed the proceedings to a time he thought unconstitutional, and then voted to acquit on the grounds that it was unconstitutional. A sleazy move. THAT'S the technicality. The GOP - or at least McConnell - MADE it unconstitutional (in their eyes) so that they could vote to acquit.

Let's review the timeline. The House impeached on January 13. Trump left office January 20. Are you really trying to blame McConnell for not forcing a vote, rand rushing Trump's legal team to rush through a defense, in six days? Come on. I think the natural progression of time made it unconstitutional. But remember, there were other senators who acquitted on the merits, so....
