I’m not saying I buy the conspiracy. I’m saying question everything you've heard about this, and I do mean everything

I’m not saying I buy the conspiracy. I’m saying question everything you've heard about this, and I do mean everything | Last year, some tinfoil-hat Rightists posited that the true origin of Covid-19 was a Wuhan lab. This was a slapdash conspiracy whose transparent purpose was to whip up anti-China furor to distract and deflect from the Trump Administration’s own mismanagement of the Covid crisis. However! It is fair to say that the PROC has been less than forthcoming with its Covid data. If the novel coronavirus really did escape from a lab, then the government has every incentive to try to cover it up. Now, I’m not saying that’s what happened. I’m not claiming that even if that is what happened, that it was in any way intentional. I’m saying that the exact origins of Covid-19 are still unknown, and for these reasons, may forever be unknowable. | image tagged in kylie sipping tea, conspiracy theory, conspiracy theories,china,covid-19,coronavirus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Let's pretend for a moment that COVID-19 is a bio weapon (it isn't). Wouldn't it then be EVEN more important to do lockdowns?

Re-cringe: Wuhan Lab Edition | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Exactly - I made that point in a meme awhile back and it’s why I reached for the same template this time :)

This is why anti-mask, anti-social distancing, anti-vaxx Righties have no credibility when arguing the Wuhan lab conspiracy. It’s obvious their reasoning is motivated by a desire for a quick way to pass the buck onto foreigners, the same way the MAGA worldview approaches every problem, rather than roll up their sleeves and do the difficult work of solving a problem right here at home.

Sorry man, the possibility that a highly infectious coronavirus originated from pure animal-human contact in a wet market that just so happened to be in the same area as a high-security lab where pathogens were studied is just something I won't accept...
