Get ready to watch HIPAA rights disappear. | The new rule is simple: wear a mask until you're vaccinated. And how exactly can an entity even ask about whether or not you're vaccinated - without infringing on a person's HIPAA rights? HIPPA came about to protect Bill Clinton's STDs from being exposed. Make sure they screw your rights while wearing a condemn.

I'm not anti-mask or anti-vax, but I am anti-Joe-and-the-Hoe, anti-big government, and anti-tyranny.

When I got vaccinated it was done by the county and not a doctors office. There was no HIPAA form to be signed. So all Biden's goons would have to do is compare the county records against census data and they would have somewhat of an idea of who has been vaccinated or not.

And when people don't get vaccinated - force them to get vaccinated. And when they want to purchase anything or go do anything - being forced to provide the data that proves it.

Forcing anyone to release medical records is what they will do.

I have no doubt that is where we are heading. After all Biden is Mr Build Back Better. He was fraudulently put in office to force the Great Reset, Agenda 21, Agenda 2030 and the Green New Deal down our throats.

The Dems have already started all of that with the lock downs over a virus that is 99% survivable.

10 percent contagious so far for the US in terms of total population have gotten it. Of that 35 Million 560K have died. Which means it has only killed 0.0002% of our population.

This is my argument about a couple of things, including the so-called “mental health evaluations” that have been floated in the gun debate. I’m sorry but a buggy boy at Walmart can’t ask me for proof of vaccination. I have proof of course, and since I’m leaving the country in a few days I expect to be asked for that and that’s understandable. But forcing me to provide my paperwork before I’m allowed to buy Pop Tarts is against the law.

HIPPA only applies to 'covered entities' and their business associates.

Covered entities include:

Health Plans, including health insurance companies, HMOs, company health plans, and certain government programs that pay for health care, such as Medicare and Medicaid.

Most Health Care Providers—those that conduct certain business electronically, such as electronically billing your health insurance—including most doctors, clinics, hospitals, psychologists, chiropractors, nursing homes, pharmacies, and dentists.

Health Care Clearinghouses—entities that process nonstandard health information they receive from another entity into a standard (i.e., standard electronic format or data content), or vice versa.
In addition, business associates of covered entities must follow parts of the HIPAA regulations.

Often, contractors, subcontractors, and other outside persons and companies that are not employees of a covered entity will need to have access to your health information when providing services to the covered entity. We call these entities “business associates.”

Actually....

https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/faq/187/what-does-the-hipaa-privacy-rule-do/index.html

And I quote...

"The HIPAA Privacy Rule for the first time creates national standards to protect individuals' medical records and other personal health information. It gives patients more control over their health information. It sets boundaries on the use and release of health records."

Go spread your commie lies elsewhere.

I don't lie. What's the point? Truth cuts deeper.

From your link:

What does the HIPAA Privacy Rule do?
Answer:
Most health plans and health care providers that are covered by the new Rule must comply with the new requirements by April 14, 2003.

The HIPAA Privacy Rule for the first time creates national standards to protect individuals’ medical records and other personal health information.
It gives patients more control over their health information.
It sets boundaries on the use and release of health records.
It establishes appropriate safeguards that health care providers and others must achieve to protect the privacy of health information.
It holds violators accountable, with civil and criminal penalties that can be imposed if they violate patients’ privacy rights.
And it strikes a balance when public responsibility supports disclosure of some forms of data – for example, to protect public health.

Laugh if you want.
There is nothing illegal about them asking for vaccination status.

If you agreed to give the information then HIPPA would apply if they are a covered entity.

You should also consider whether they will maintain the record or just look at it to confirm. If they maintain a record, you might be better served by looking at the Privacy Act which is more general.

You don't have to give your information though. Whether you are refused service or entry without that information would be outside of the scope of this conversation.

No. It's a cause effect tactic. Make a rule saying you have to wear a mask if you're not vaccinated. People not vaccinated will walk around without masks too. COVID will spike - HIPAA rights will be tossed out, to ensure everyone else is safe.

Meaning to do stuff - you will be forced to release medical information that was once private. It's just another right and freedom we have the Dems will strip away, and you're going to be clapping like an idiot about it prolly.

You mean like the vaccines in my school records?

I don't buy it. They could have created a central database and mandated participation or something actually concerning. Proof of vaccine requirements aren't even going to be at the federal level, except maybe for international travel.

It could be.

But it seems to me that radicalization and paranoia could be as well. The ongoing attack on our institutions from the right while pretending that it isn't happening is a shit show to watch.

Right: How could you say systemic racism exists! Back the Blue! A few bad apples! Back our troops! Well, except that guy who testified against Trump.

Also Right: The FBI is lying, the CDC is lying, the media is lying, climatologists are lying, all of the medical examiners are lying, all of the people who man the voting machines and do the manual counts are lying.

Do you ever stop and notice that your reaching a point where you have no respected authority for facts other than what you feel? The only sources you seem to believe are ones you tell you you are being lied to. It is scary to watch.

Who would you trust to tell you you were wrong? Who could come to you and say, hey, yeah we've studied and determined that it doesn't work like this. Masks do work because reasons.

You've decided things are or aren't true and you aren't willing to accept new evidence. The degrees to which this has happened vary, but there you are.

Don't get me wrong. Skepticism is healthy. Nobody is above question, but of late you guys seem willing to dismiss ideas on suspicion and you are suspicious of anything that 'feels' wrong.

You seem to think conservatives back Trump at all costs, perhaps because liberals must back their man at all costs. We don’t think in lock step like that. Biden is worse - only took a 100 days for that can of worms to open up.Trump ain’t perfect but what you see is what you get. No BS like Biden pandering to young folks about student loan cancellations that he had no intention of doing. But it got their vote - suckers! Why am I a racist? I’m tired of that BS. The FBI and deep state top leaders are just an arm for the democrat machine. No longer neutral. So is the IRS. OBAMA put radicals in there and now they continue to work for the Dems not the people. Masks donNt work - oops they do work, but now you need 2 - but not if you are rioting or even just protesting. Fauci is not a scientist but a political tool. I just follow the BS to its illogical conclusions. And I do consider sources but I want unbiased ones. And those are rare.

Backing Trump at all costs has been my observation. Prove me wrong. What did Trump do that most bothered you? Because I've seen very little dissent.

For me: Biden changed his assigned refugee allowances after progressives made noise. He's been called out repeatedly for not immediately calling for a ceasefire with Israel/Palestine. Lots of callouts for a more definitive border plan that can assist refugees while staying secure. What's the plan on the public option? Also the pipeline. I dont like it, but arbitrarily changing agreements with other countries was a Trump thing. Dow's up, unemployment is down. I haven't seen anything thus far that is clearly his fault and he's done a fair job putting out fires.

Student loan cancellation. That's a fair one.

Deep state paranoia - No dice.

Masks - changing your mind as new information is found is a strength. Two masks was about getting a better fit. It was never required, just given as advice for someone needing better protection.

Fauci - then Trump should have fired him, no?

The attack is on the left. They project themselves onto their enemies.

I don't have enemies. Projection is a convenient if dated method used by both sides to dismiss criticism. If that's the only argument, that's too vague to respond to.
