maybe his move set was weak, but he's truely a force to be reckoned with the first time around, which is probably what the developer's had in mind.

and as the 'New Champion' you should be able to train better/stronger pokemon and show up the 'old generation'...

Something that IS of interest to me is how Thunder will damage him, as rocks are not immune to electricity... didn't figure that one out for a while myself.

as a rule, i always made every member of my party at least lvl 47 before my first league challenge... Gen I definately takes the cake for being tough AF... game was ruthless <3
