I can’t speak for other religions, so I will represent Christianity.
Christianity teaches that all people are equal, and are created in the image of God. That doesn’t mean there aren’t homophobes, transphobes etc. But those individuals are not obeying God’s law. Christians believe that same sex marriage is a sin, but that’s not the same as discrimination, or hatred. I can’t speak for liberal Christians, but conservative Christians believe that transgenderism isn’t healthy because it isn’t possible to change genders. If a Hispanic person said he feel like they’re black instead of Hispanic, does that mean he should change his skin color? No. It’s a mental problem. So why is it different with genders?
So if you’re mainly focusing on Christianity, what do you think about other religions?
