I don't understand the correlation between claiming you're a Conservative patriot and a meme template with an Asian child on it. Are you telling us you're Asian? If that's the case, who cares? I'm half Hispanic and a Constitutional Conservative, but I doubt anyone really cares.

Why on earth would my choice of this particular kid reflect my actual self? I'm not 7 and I don't wear my hair in pigtails. What my race, gender, age, et cetera are beyond that you can decide for yourself.

And yes, I have very conservative values -- but I identify as a liberal. The meme is intended to get at the fallacy of those simple dichotomies. I didn't anticipate how much people would react to white/non-white dichotomy, but okay. That's where this stream is living right now.

Race-baiting isn't rocket science. You purposely posted a meme about how great diversity is and posted a picture of an Asian child. No one believes you're a 7 year old Asian girl so that doesn't matter. You're race baiting and acting like you have the higher ground in an argument no one even cared to get into. You could have posted a photo of anyone of any particular race and said the same thing, but you purposely posted a photo of an Asian girl because you knew it would get some reaction.

Wow, projection! I posted her because she was cute, a kid dressing up as a big serious adult. (I literally searched for girl with briefcase, or girl with tie or something like that.) YOU'RE the one who sees this template as irredeemably other because of her race.

All the race-baiting is happening IN your mind. Deal with it there instead of projecting it onto me.

Okay, thanks! As a game, as a challenge, let's each intentionally choose non-white templates and see how people respond. I had no idea that that meme would mostly get responses to her race, but now I really want to see . . . you in?
