Nothing like good ol fuel shortages

The point my friends is infrastructure is infrastructure. Gas is not evil, its not Republican, its not wicked capitalism. It's a critical piece of the country's infrastructure. It is not just gasoline. Where does plastic come from? Or heating oil? Engine cleaning products? Mineral oils? You could remove every light from your home, and your power usage would decrease. So win-win right? Nope. The first time you fell and broke your leg in the darkness while trying to get to the bathroom would show how foolish your plan was.

I bet 100% of all Americans prefer to have more money in the bank than less. I bet all of you like having extra cash, even if you don't spend it. This is the same concept with oil. Its the 21st century, new technology will eventually make oil, gas, and coal as obsolete as a horse drawn carriage. But you have to be patient. You don't remove all the horses before their replacement is mainstream! Biden is trying to juggle a double bladed chainsaw and he just received a nasty, but hardly undeserved, cut this week.

Remember when we were told there was a virus that could infect you through the nose and people ran out and bought paper to wipe their asses? Funny how people do stupid things when they don't understand what's really going on.

Rushing out and filling every available container with gas because of a few hour gas line shut down and then panicking because the shippers didn't expect the rush and haven't had time to refill them is.

So who is buying more gas than they need to get where they have to go?

People like this and the and the dozens right behind them buying so much they had to issue a statement telling people not to fill plastic bags with gas.

It's their right to do so - those jugs are designed for gasoline.

No, I would not use a plastic bag. I saw a video on a different site of a woman filling a plastic bag, but she double bagged it so it was OK. :)

I also hope that these clowns in your picture are not stacking FULL gas jugs on their sides. Any time I've ever tipped one of those damn things even slightly they leak. I would never lay a full one on its side.
