When someone behaves like a racist, that person can be called 'a racist'. For the same reason you can call someone who is drunk 'a drunk' and a clearly uneducated person 'stupid'. It's really that simple, Zak. Hope my explanation helps.

You don't appear to understand my goal here. I'm not trying to understand racism. Frankly, I don't think racism is a real moral category at all. I'm trying to understand you, and, perhaps, prompt you to think.

Most people who talk a lot about racism deny that black people can be racist. Those who say they can are generally unwilling to make it concrete by pointing to specific cases. You linking an article tells me very little about you, and requires no real thought on your part.
