Under these lockdowns people still got covid and under these lockdowns people suffered issues that are arguably worse than the virus including mental health issues, domestic abuse, deaths from alcoholism, deaths from drug overdose and even youth suicides. Not to mention suffering in poverty from losing one's job. If more deaths from all sorts of other issues under these lockdowns happen and deaths from depression, domestic abuse, alcoholism, drug overdose and even surpass the amount of covid deaths, you have no grounds to claim "lockdowns save lives", all sorts of other deaths skyrocketed under these lockdowns.

And how many companies had to close after reopening because of a covid breakout among their employees?
