I just knew this came from an Atheist or Agnostic who wants to take shots at us for not believing in Evolution and the Big Bang.

1) Does that mean I can believe that the earth is flat? The bible says it is. Oh wait the Earth is round which means the bible can be wrong.
2) Why do you think this means I am an athiest? For the record I am.

Since I don't have a copy handy can you give a link to either an online version or a website analyzing it that you trust?

I’ve read through the entire Bible twice and it never said the Earth was flat, and it just seemed like you were making a joke to my memer brain

How is that anti-science?

How is a meme that attacks science's credibility not anti-science?

Attacking science's credibility is what science is

Please explain.

Science is literally the critique of other science. That is the purpose of science today- to nitpick, criticize, and prove wrong the sciences of yesterday in order to ensure we have the proper foundation to propel ourselves forward.

There is a huge difference between saying science can be wrong and saying it is unreliable.
[deleted]

Some science simply is.
0 ups, 3y,

You were saying that all science is unreliable
[deleted]
0 ups, 3y
By default no science is truly reliable, for it is all supposed to fall under scrutiny.
0 ups, 3y
As I said before, recognizing the fact that science isn't perfect and saying it is useless are entirely different.

The meme does not attacks science's credibility

It says they think a random explosion happened, as apposed to lots of research saying that the big bang happened..
0 ups, 3y,

The Big Bang hasn't been proven, and there's very little evidence to support it.

Redshift shows the universe is expanding and we can detect background radiation. Also, science can't prove something. All it can do is make a theory that explains the information available.

Those are both good points, but still VERY inconclusive. I wouldn't call somebody irrational for thinking that a Big Bang happened, but I don't believe it did.
0 ups, 3y,

The definition of irrational is believing something not based on evidence. I would say not believing the Big Bang theory is irrational. Also the Big Bang theory leaves room for a God. After all, the singularity had to come from somewhere.

I would have to disagree with your first point.

What do you mean?
0 ups, 3y
You said, "I would say not believing the Big Bang theory is irrational." I disagree with that.

People like yourself like to cling to the fact that others use theories, and then brush that off. Nothing doesn't become something. Theory or not, it's nonsensical.

Then explain where God came from. Also words like "become" imply that there is a chronological order to events. Before the universe existed there was not time.

Something simply has to exist in order for something else to come into existence. Something, somewhere along in time, broke that mold. Also, the idea that time exists alongside space happens to be a theory, so you can't hold on to that one.
0 ups, 3y
You failed to explain God's existence in a way that wouldn't work just as well for the big bang theory. Also any new scientific theory is put through a gauntlet of tests. It is incredibly misleading to call it a theory using the non-scientific meaning of the word.

Maybe it's because this is a Christian stream you dum fuk

Bruh, you don’t know anything XD

There are two types of christians.

1) the kind that is neutral in stature, and is a reasonable Christian who also believes in science.

2) the second kind are the ones who are purely christian who believe everything is an act of god.

I'm type 1. I believe the earth is round. And contrary to your belief, flat earth is never mentioned in the bible. God made the earth round because round things are sexy. Flat things are not.

Explain how a explosion can make water. Explain how the earth is just the right distance from the sun. Explain how the universe all flows together perfectly. Do you really think a explosion could make perfection?!? God created the world the way he wanted to. He spoke and everything came into existence. Seriously, go outside and try using nothing and have a big boom happen and create your own universe! That is science for you. God loves his creation. He loves you. As his creation you should except that. Let him love and care for you.

So he designed us terribly and is okay with mass death? Also the big bang created some elements but stars made a lot of them.
0 ups, 3y,
1 reply
God isn't ok with mass death. Death happens because humans turn against God. The devil tempted mankind into sin. Now people have a choice. They can go be sinful (possibly take people's lives) or follow God and try to be more like him. God isn't the one killing.
0 ups, 3y,

Why does he allow killing to happen though?
0 ups, 3y,
1 reply
In the beginning God created everything perfectly so that we could be with him. We chose to sin against him. God can't be with sin. That means he can't be with us. So he made a way. He sent his son to save us from our sins. He was the gateway between us and his father (God). We can now make a choice. We can follow God, tell him we are sorry about our sin and live forever or we will die and be killed by the devil. So killing is something christians shouldn't fear. There is life after this. We just need to apologize for our sins. That is a very good question. If you are interested in becoming a christian and living forever, you can check out this website: https://www.faithward.org/how-do-you-become-a-christian/ Being a christian is the most important thing you will ever do! God is gracious and loving.

But what about miscarries? Why would God allow an innocent baby to never see its family?
0 ups, 3y
In this broken world, God has allowed many things He does not like. Miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and birth defects are among them. Wars, natural disasters, illness, death, crime, and all other manifestations of sin are allowed to remain for a time. They are all part of sin’s curse on this fallen world. While God does control everything, He still allows what He hates to accomplish what He desires. God's way of running the universe is way more complex than our understanding.
0 ups, 3y
I believe that when God said, “Let there be light”, the Big Bang happened. It’s been proven a lot of times.
