The only way this story could be better is if the “doctor” died too.

Ugh. Never good to see someone die. Praying for her soul.

I'm trying hard to find a real news agency reporting this. It's certainly possible that this happened due to a side effect of the abortion drug, but I'd wait to crow if I were you.

And, of course, the maternal mortality rate for women who go through with a pregnancy is more than 20 times higher the death rates from mifepristone.

.65 deaths per 100,000 medication abortions
20.1 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births

“I'm trying hard to find a real news agency reporting this.”

Maybe if you listened to something other than left-wing propaganda, you’d have an easier time.

Well, I found a Catholic paper, someone's facebook post, so pro-life sites. Nothing major, nothing newsy or reliable. If it's all over Alex Jones, no, I don't listen to him, but there are PLENTY of good sources of news. If a story isn't in at least one or two of them, I'm skeptical.

Name two of your “good news sources” please.

I've named them for you in earlier conversations. Where do you get your news?

Is The New York Times a “good news source”?

It is indeed: it is the paper of record in the US. That is not to say that they never get things wrong, but they have a long and impressive record of delivering the important news in America, and issuing corrections when they make mistakes.

So, I asked, but I'll repeat: what news sources do you trust?

Does it bother you that the NYT helped cover up a genocide? Have they ever apologized for that?

You haven't given me a comparable news source. No whataboutism. I read articles from the Times, from the BBC, from NPR, from big city papers like the Chicago Sun Times, the LA Times, the Boston Globe, the Dallas Morning News, and also big aggregators like Reuters and the AP. TV journalism can be good, but it's never as thorough and they don't cite sources as clearly.

So, again, where do you get your news?

DOES IT BOTHER YOU THAT THE NYT HELPED COVER UP A GENOCIDE?

Noone I listen to is complicit in anything remotely comparable. So I'd like to know what are your minimal standards for a "reliable source"? Apparently lying to help cover up the Holodomor because they are ideologically aligned with the perpetrators is not enough to kick a paper off the list.

Yep, the 40s had a lot of anti-semitism. What makes the NYT respectable, is when it got pointed out, they reported on it and took responsibility. (Max Frankel, 2001/11/14)

Everybody makes mistakes. It's what you do next. And if you're getting your news off an internet service, your providers weren't around to get the Holocaust of the Armenian Genocide right, so you can't make that comparison. (Kind of like Trump in 2016 if he said that he'd never made a foreign policy mistake . . . meaningless.)

“Yep, the 40s had a lot of anti-semitism.”

Learn to read. I wasn’t talking about the Holocaust. I was talking about the Holodomor. The fact that you didn’t recognize it is evidence of your ignorance.

Say, how many of your “good news sources” participated in the vicious, baseless slander of Nicholas Sandmann? I’d bet most of them.

From what I read, it sounded like he and those other students made public speech and got reported on. Kind of what the media is supposed to do. And when they go too far, they acknowledge it make a reparation.

And yes, child, I'm aware of what Stalin did to Ukraine. But this is all whataboutism. You consistently criticize the better news outlets but don't offer reliable alternatives. The fact that the media can make mistakes doesn't mean that they're always or even mostly wrong.

The funny, you, with your "learn to read". What news, what history DO you read?

“From what I read, it sounded like he and those other students made public speech and got reported on.”

Perhaps someone as ignorant as you shouldn’t be criticizing others. That’s not remotely what happened.
