Sure but there is recourse and finally a public wave of no nonsense. There are mistakes and it should cost police their jobs and if malicious it should cost their freedom. Chauvin proved the system worked. The lady that shot the dude because she though she grabbed the taser resigned. The system worked. It doesn't need defunding just oversight and professionalism. The police in charge during the capitol riot also were forced to resign. Things are actually going well.
