You knew that the gist of the meme wasn’t about gun laws, but rather about the selective enforcement of laws such as illegal immigration, giving a pass to looters and rioters and even selective political prosecution.
And you already know that drug, rape and murder laws don’t stop criminals. You should also know that while passing unconstitutional gun laws will soothe many democrats, it won’t make you one iota safer.

I mean, seriously. What's a couple of thousand dollar fines to a person with millions?

Maybe we should make fines scalable based on income.

Or just tax them.

Couldn't hurt.

I beg to differ. Democrats want to pass as many laws as they possibly can, and to make them so hard to follow that we all become lawbreakers. Best of all is if they can make the laws contradictory to each other, and to make them open to interpretation so you don't know what to do and what not to do.

As Ayn Rand said, a government's power consists in the ability to strike down on lawbreakers. So if there aren't enough criminals, you make them by passing a plethora of laws so everybody becomes a lawbreaker - and then you cash in on people's guilt!

Of course they will interpret the laws to make themselves innocent of any crime, or claim that their lawbreaking "serves the common good".

The simple answer is no, I cannot provide the kind of evidence you’re looking for. That’s the whole point of faith. And the reason I have faith is because the only alternatives to believing in god have been proven false.
0 ups, 3y,

How can you prove that believing in something else is “false”? How does that work?
[deleted]
0 ups, 3y
Well, the most prominent alternative to believing in God is what secular science teaches. Secular science teaches that it's all some extremely convenient accident, that life started as a "simple" organism that evolved into everything there is today, and all of this relies on deep time theory because supposedly all of this happened over millions and millions of years. There are problems with those beliefs.

1. Not even factoring in life, simply the odds of the universe being at the proper temperature after the big bang for life to occur is 1 out of 1^230. That's a 1 followed by 230 zeros. Those are such astronomical odds that even respected scientists have scoffed at this and continue to search for a more logical conclusion. If you hold up that impossible odds makes more sense than a creator then we're both men of faith, you simply choose to put your faith in chance and I put faith in God.

2. There is no such thing as "simple" life. Even single cell organisms are vastly more complicated than anything humans could ever imagine creating. DNA can hold as much information in 1 gram as 650,000,000,000 gigabytes. From the process of protein synthesis to the reproductive system to a breathable membrane to dozens of others, you have a better chance of throwing random hardware parts into a bucket and seeing them form themselves into a working clock. Especially when you consider that all of these functions had to work perfectly all at the same time or else the whole thing fails, again even respected scientists have acknowledged that believing this came about by accident is ridiculous.

3. Now take a look at carbon dating, which is supposedly used to date fossils. Carbon dating has an accuracy limit of 50,000 years, so everything beyond that is a made up number, or "estimation". Uranium dating has farther limits but even at that it stops being reliable after 400,000 years. So how could there possibly be dinosaur fossils dated to be 65 million years old and older? The answer is: those are made up numbers used to try and prove evolution. Researchers have found dinosaur fossils with soft movable tissue, something that can't have remained in such condition for millions of years. Rather, it shows that Dinosaurs roamed the Earth no earlier than 4,000 years ago. Of course secular science did what they always do whenever they find evidence that contradicts their atheism: they fire the researchers and bury the story best they can. Read about it on the first link below. The reason this finding is detrimental to their views is that 4,000 years ago matches up with the time the great flood occurred as told in the Bible. And yes, the evidence does show that Dinosaurs were killed in a water catastrophe, see more about that in the second link below starting around minute 25:06.

Take a look at the Grand Canyon, which has been named by atheist geologists as the best site for proof of their deep time theory. According to them, each layer of rock was formed over millions of years. Yet, there are no signs of bioturbation in the layers to justify them being anywhere near that old. There are also trilobyte trails found in layers that are supposedly older than trilobites themselves according to evolutionists. What is more, the trails are found to be walking in between multiple layers. Sediment accumulates as low as 1 millimeter per year. In the grand canyon alone there is 215,000 meters of sediment missing in the grand canyon, debunking the deep time geologic column promoted by atheism. In the second link see 33:46, 51:07, and 59:20 for more information.

The Big Bang never happened, the world didnt POOF into existence
0 ups, 3y
The Big Bang happened, Adam and Eve happened. It's all true and all hypothetical. There's evidence that humans evolved from an original pair - like Adam and Eve. It's also very plausible that God made the universe and the Big Bang was part of His design. We don't have a lot of proof of any of it. That's why it's called Faith.

The universe began, scientists believe, with every speck of its energy jammed into a very tiny point. This extremely dense point exploded with unimaginable force, creating matter and propelling it outward to make the billions of galaxies of our vast universe. Astrophysicists dubbed this titanic explosion the Big Bang.

Why does God upset you so much? If you merely didn't beleive you wouldn't care or go out of your way to start a conflict at the mere drop of a name.

I beleive in God, I beleive in Jesus and that's where this conversation ends, and not a single word you could muster could never shake my faith and beleifs. I don't have no need to wanna change your free will nor convince or prove anything to you, prove it to yourself if you're seeking this hard for the truth.

Have a blessed day ✝️😉
