eyyy only the big companies are replacing small jobs with robots and/or computers, particularly mcdonalds, who receive subsidies from the government and hate to lose money on anything. smaller, local companies already hand out $15 paychecks to low-skill workers and have high quality work effort as a result, not to mention better food than mcdonalds. this is notable since the bigger threat to local fast food joints isn't minimum wage increase, but mcdonalds and other international franchises.
the fast food joint Sonic Drive-in said "No one wants to work anymore" on its low employment numbers. They tried raising their wages, but it drove the cost of food up. look up "Sonic Inflation" on google images for graphs and data.
