Correct. The Constitution merely enumerates unalienable G-d given/natural rights.

You can spell God. It isn't a sin.
And you are right, to a degree. It is Constututionally guarenteed...only as far as we are willing to defend that right.

Rights exist, sans permission.

In the other matter I defer to my Jewish friends.

sans willing to stand up and defend them.

And Jews are my friends, too. Shalom

I am ignorant of many things too.

The Jews believe that the name is so holy that it is not to be spoken and not even aspelled out in whole.

And you and every fake patriot don't defend the constitution. You subjectively cherry pick and actually support gun laws you like while crying that gun laws you don't like are unconstitutional.

I was a life long flag waving republican I am 53 now and realize both parties and fake patriots like you are scared sheep who want big brother to solve all their problems.

My God, boy...you're insane. You haven't a clue...
I want the Gov't out of our lives. PERIOD. The only thing the Constitution mandates the Federal Gov't to do is guard our borders(they fail miserably), provide for a Judiciary that metes out justice equally(they fail miserably), coin money( the gov't printing press is running overtime and causing inflation), regulate commerce( they are very aggresive in regulation...they got that down pat), establish a post office( used to be pretty good, now the PO is just another union-heavy bureauacracy and semi-quasi political arm of the Democrat party), and raise and maintain armed forces( they have now screwed that all to hell) and promote FREEDOM(which they fail at miserably).

ALL laws restricting the freedom of American citizens to "keep and bear arms" are, ipso fact, unconstitutional.
And spare me the tanks, apache gun ships, and thermal-nuclear warhead bullshit, pal. No one is talking about them, other than you idiots hell bent on becoming a communist wasteland.

Maybe you should live in a country with no government, then. I mean you can't have it both ways. You want the government out of your life period but you want to be able to drive on roads, call 911 when your house is on fire, send your kids to schools, buy groceries that are safe to eat and handled properly....? The government IS in every aspect of our lives in America and that's one of the reasons why our country is so great. Sure, it's got a LOT of problems and needs a lot of fixing, shouldn't be in some aspects of our lives. But you can't go on about constitutional rights then say you want the government out of your life at the same time.
2 ups, 3y,

Local governments and coops can pave roads, 911 is locally administered through police and emergency services, local fire departments not regulated federally put out fires. Public schools should be abolished. Groceries are already safe. What Grice in their right mind wounds want to harm their customers, and if they did, that would be a police matter.
Please read the 9th and 10th amendments.
1 up, 3y
Local governments can pave roads but they get highway money from the feds. Groceries should already be safe but they're still not and definitely wouldn't be without some government oversight. Our local police and fire are partially funded by federal money. And who's going to educate our kids without public schools?

We want the government to do its Constitutional job.

Exactly and it has never had powers to create and pass a single "gun" law

Yet Both parties LOVE gun laws

I was talking about the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, though...try to keep up.

We have State and local governments, elected by and responsible to, local citizenry, who take care of al those services you enumerated. We don't need the Feds to do that.

Thanks for participating...y'all come back now, ya heah?

No shit, genius. You obviously have no idea how our government works. Where tf do you think states get a lot of their funding from? Places like Kentucky get more money from the fed than they bring in. Moscow Mitch's state is basically a high maintenance gold-digger. Where are all these states going to get their money from without being able to suck from the federal teat?

ALL laws restricting the freedom of American citizens to "keep and bear arms" are, ipso fact, unconstitutional.

That was your statement

You are 100% correct ALL gun laws are blatantly unconstitutional and when I say that I mean ALL OF THEM!!! Even the Felony restrictions

If you think a "felon" should not have a gun then you are not Pro 2nd or Pro Constitution.

You are the fake patriot who hates the constitution that ALL Trumplicans and Anti Gun Democrats are.
3 ups, 3y,

Actually the only time you can be deprived of your right is when you are a felon. Please read the entire constitution.

And here we have another fake patriot who bends the knee to BIG BROTHER because you are a scared sheep

And read what? There is not s single f**king word in the constitution that allows BIG BROTHER create gun laws and that is a fact

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED

You want fake freedom
1 up, 3y
Please read the 5th amendment.

So, you went in that direction...

The fact that you "think" (HA! you don't "think", you "FEEL") that a "felon" (why the quotations??) should have a gun speaks VOLUMES about you.

Nothing FAKE about me. However, you seem to be a fake American.

LOLOLOLOL I want guns everywhere. ALL gun laws are unconstitutional ALL of them including felony laws

I prefer dangerous freedom and liberty compared to fake security. Like you and the rest
1 up, 3y
So, I take it you're a felon.
Got it!
2 ups, 3y
Actually, it would depend on the circumstances and their prison record.
1 up, 3y
A felon in prison should not have a gun.

When a person has paid their debt to society they should have their rights as a citizen restored.

If they can not be trusted to be a member of society, they should stay in prison.
1 up, 3y
Once they have served their complete sentence and any parole, yes.

And how would you define a 'true patriot'? There were alreadly conflicting ideas when the Constitution was written, even though I would agree that it's pretty self-explanatory.
1 up, 3y
A true patriot supports and believes in the ACTUAL Constitution and Bill of Rights

Not their made up and subjective interpretations of it. And America is invested with both right and left wing pussies who hate the actual constitution.

All gun laws are unconstitutional ALL OF THEM even felony "laws" There is not a single f**king word in the constitution that has ever granted The Federal or State Governments the power to create gun laws PERIOD!!!

And America today is a police state of Unconstitutional laws beyond just "gun laws"

Sadly both Republicans and Democrats alike LOVE it!!

Our America would make the founders puke

I personally do not any existing gun laws, aside from those that have penalties for misuse.

I am a Conservatiive Christian and want most of the Federal Government defunded and States given more freedom. People should be left alone to live their lives as they please.

You do know the states get a lot of funding from the federal government, right? Like Kentucky, for instance, got $148billion more federal funding than it brought in tax revenue. In other words, Kentucky would be toast without the federal government. So how would Moscow Mitch's state survive without the fed? Russia? Jyna? Bin Salman cuz he pays in cash? https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/04/27/mitch-mcconnells-kentucky-has-been-getting-federal-bailout-money-years-thats-reality/

The Federal Government should not be taking money from people at all.

The States should make or break on their own.

Until the 16th amendment that is how it was done.

It was not because the States were failing, but because the Federal Government wanted to accomplish what the British couldn't.

Well that was 200 years ago and our country has changed a lot in that amount of time. A lot more people to manage, technology changes, etc.
1 up, 3y
You see, that is your problem, you are a Statist that wants to be diapered, fed and put to bed.

We Americans want to stand on our own two feet, work, play, live in peace and be left alone to succeed or fail.

The state is not needed to control/manage/pamper the people.

Everything you are for is CONTROL.

1 up, 3y,

You are such an are.

You have the RIGHT to defend you and yours.

If you decide to depend on the police to protect you I hope it works out for you.

I choose to use the most effective tool for self defense. Should you threaten me or mine with serious bodily harm or death (Even someone that I can defend) I will be forced to commit justified homicide, for which I will ever regret: hàving had to do, but pleased that I had the means.
1 up, 3y,

That's IF you manage to be the one to commit the homicide. Bullets don't always go where you want them to...

That is why I practice regularly and get training.
1 up, 3y,
1 reply
What if he gets the drop on you? Or has more training or a bigger gun? There's just so many variables. That's what bothers me about guns. So many accidental shootings, mistaken identities, the gun jams, you're outgunned... Hopefully you have a backup plan.
1 up, 3y
OK, He HAS the advantage over YOU. He has more training, if any, than YOU. There are so many variables that YOU are not prepared for. That is what bothers me about P*****S. Very few accidental shootings , less than 0.0001 per 100k. Mistaken Identities makes no sense. YOU don't have to worry about your gun jambing. YOU ARE out gunned.YOU have NO PLAN.

You will sit tied up in a chair while they rape and murder your wife, daughter and son. Maybe they will be kind and kill you too or maybe let you live with that picture for the rest of your pitiful existence.

There is no doubt or mistaken identity of the person that has my, my family or another's life in threat of serious bodily harm or death.

The problem with YOU is YOU are a STATIST that wants to control people and keep in talking even though you have no idea of the facts.

Proverbs 17:28
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

Paraphrase,

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

The fact that you believe that the Government has the power to grant rights means the also have the right to tale them away.

Yeah, NO.
1 up, 3y
Whether the government has the right to give or take away rights or not is beside the point. They've been doing it since the country was first founded. Inalienable rights were for everyone except slaves in the beginning, remember? Lincoln was the 16th president. Slavery existed for 170 years prior to the constitution and over 100 years after. And by the 1930's there were still 2 million slaves in the US. The government HAS the power. That's been a fact for 200 years.
