See, that's how politics works, you should have learned this in 8th grade, but I realize that public education isn't as good as it used to be.

Here you go...governors run their STATES. Senators represent the state in the senate, voting for how they think their constituents would want on NATIONAL issues.

Therefore, McConnell is no more responsible for the poverty rate in Kentucky than Ted Cruz was for the power outages in Texas.
