why politics stream suck

Well,it just might help if there was something to be Pro about, that was actually true.

one word: diversity

All sorts of memes get featured.
Upvotes (mostly), views, and comments get them to the top.

There are more alt righties, so their memes are favored.
Also those who aren't are notoriously cheap with upvotes.
Plus many having migrated to PoliticsToo, you now see memes getting more upvotes there than some hitting the front page in recent months. If it wasn't that stream, you'd see a different mix on the Politics stream.

It seems a little hypocritical to come here and say this when numerous Pro-Democrat memes have been featured on this stream, and I still haven’t seen many Pro-Republican memes to featured in the PoliticsToo stream. But it’s not surprising since if it wasn’t for double standards, leftists wouldn’t have very many standards at all.

I think the difference is that politics was created to be unbiased and feature memes from both sides, versus politicsTOO was created to counter politics, which had become an far-authoritarian-right mess.

Well, if the left could meme, they’d get better ratios, and be more relevant.

But they can’t, because they don’t know how to laugh at themselves, and therefore don’t truly understand humor, which is a vital part of a good meme.

All I’m saying that you will get more diversity on this conservative stream than you will ever get on the liberal one because we aren’t nearly as bigoted as they are.

Why do you assume that? Look at the top contributors. Most are conservative. All the way through the list there are 2 or 3 conservatives for every liberal, therefore, there will obviously be more conservative memes than liberal ones, especially since they started their own stream and stopped posting here.

If you think we’re biased, keep trying to post liberal memes here, but make sure you try for that ‘balance’ by try to get conservative memes featured on PoliticsToo.

After a week or two, let us know the results.
