He's not a hero. He is a symbol. He deserved to be arrested. He didn't deserve to die.

An ugly parallel with the way rape cases have been tried too many times. "But she dated around." "But her clothes --!" "But she had a drink!"

This is the absolute truth.

he should have been given medical attention- like any human should. Street justice isn't good for a country. Let the courts decide, not the street cop.

If people just complied and took it to court they would be alive in almost all of these cases, We make heroes out of trash your memes are trash as you say well almost everyone killed was at least stupid for not just stopping, Have you ever even watched the floyd film. He resisted and also said he could not breath even before a knee was on his neck. The officer was wrong too but if he complied he would not have died. Simple fact! Maybe that should be a new MEME Just comply don't die! Maybe Harris should say that but hate and division is all Democrats have to go on. Really sad, Open your eyes the true racists are Democrats.

And perhaps if Breonna Taylor's boyfriend hadn't gotten out his gun when he heard strangers breaking into the house, she wouldn't have died. But if you woke up to an armed group breaking into your house in the small hours of the night, wouldn't you have "resisted" too?

Again, this is bound up with privilege. You're saying that Black people just have to "comply" with the occasional armed break ins to their homes, getting pulled over and searched by the cops, the pepper-spraying at a traffic stop, and at least they'll live. Doesn't that sound like servitude? Isn't that all the stuff that the right wing is afraid will happen if Big Government, or Globalism, or whatever takes over? Because it IS happening for Black Americans, and it has been for a long time.

F up I admit that the rest were resisting arrest! I give O Fs for anyone resisting! comply or die it is that simple! I am right but I always complied when stopped. I was even accused of A crime I did not commit. Took a hour to clear me. I complied and talked it out.

So, by your statement, you feel that the Capitol Police should just have opened fire on the protesters there this January. They certainly weren't complying with lawful authority.

Personally, I'd rather live in a democracy with the presumption of innocence, all that marvelous English common law stuff.

think how many "fine americans" should have been shot at the capital on Jan 6th, according to your logic.

you cant shoot a person for stealing, or parking tickets or bilking billions of dollars from stupid people.
