How do you feel about it?

Those brain implants don't last very long. They break down and no sane human would elect for one.

Disclaimer: I am no computer nerd nor a scientifically smart person who knows every little thing and I did maybe 3 Google searches before writing this. I was merely using my imagination and my own ideas without any scientific proof. So, please, read this with a grain of salt:

I guess there are 2 ways to look at this. . .
1) Human psychokinesis is possible, in a way. With a monkey being able to wirelessly play a video game using its mind means that eventually, humans might be able to do the same thing and that is amazing news!! Not only are our electronic devices wirelessly connected, so are we now! Doing things once thought of as magic and sorcery are now possible through the intellect of science.

2) This means the end of free will. Even if we are taking this with a grain of salt, we must assume humans might eventually have this technology as a norm. Now, if we are able to link to devices wirelessly as if we were Bluetooth could also work both ways; the devices linking to us. If we were to be wirelessly connected, even if we were to say we were disconnected from let's say, a computer, it'll still have us 'connected' to it and if someone were to hack it, they could possibly control us as we were to control the computer. A door opens on both sides and closes on both sides.

*could. it could mean the end of free will. it is a possibility that somone decides to make it a two way connection, but most people wont agree with it and as such, won't invest in the product.

The best way to prevent that is to make it so the brain chip can only receive information, not gather it.

I think we are advancing ourselves too much. It's already easy for the government of our own or pretty much any other country to spy on our personal lives, but having tech in your brain will put you under 24-hour surveillance, and imagine if a hacker got into it and was able to see everything you are doing! Don't put tech in your brain unless you want the entire world to know when you're eating, sleeping, talking, crying, etc.

It's a being that is turned into a tool for other ends. I'm a hypocritical because yes I occasionally eat cow. The're pretty smart and able to sense/fear the slaughter house sells them down the river. But would I purchase a robot-monkey? Probably not if my own life depended upon it.
