An opinion is an idea that can't be proven one way or the other. It is more of a bias than anything.
If i said you were twelve, but you weren't, then it wouldn't be my opinion that you are twelve. I would have false facts.
Facts are provable assertions about reality. A false fact is one that is proven wrong by observation or logic. Typically, when someone refers to a fact, though, they mean proven facts, such as, "The sky is blue." There can be no doubt about that, excluding certain colorblind people.They have to trust the observations by everyone else to believe it.
There is no overlap between fact and opinion.
