I honestly don't believe everyday citizens who aren't in the military, police force, FBI, etc. should be allowed to carry firearms. I know that's too much to ask for, though, so I'd honestly be satisfied if just stricter gun laws were put into action.

hi there, your friendly republican here (I won't have any insults and will actually listen to you) I think that gun laws are fine as of now, and they don't need to be restricted very much. they may have to be adjusted though as things worsen or develop for the united states.

my reasoning for this is that if you make firearms illegal then criminals will get guns, because it would hypothetically be illegal.
a gun is the first line of defense, the police can't show up to your house in seconds. on the other hand, you can pull out a gun in seconds.

So I don't think guns should be made illegal.

another funny thing is that i noticed you guys don't know there are guns with the same magazine, same ballistics, and the same rounds as "assault weapons" that you don't put as many restrictions on. I just think it's funny.

I agree that some weapons should be legal, I just think guns shouldn't be. It makes it too easy to kill someone. I could kill someone with a knife. It would be hard. I would work hard to kill that person. If you kill someone with a gun, it belittles your idea of life. You just have to pull a small trigger and they're dead.

Those are horrible acts then. The george floyd death was not race based. neither was the spa shooting, or the walmart shooting. or 99% of all shootings. The left takes any death with a black as a victim and calls it a hate crime. Is shooting a white person a hate crime? your "logic" says no. Did the attacker say he was doing it on race? If so, that is a horrible crime. my point is that the media takes ANY shooting or death of a black man or minority, obscure their criminal record, and hail them as a hero. I do not agree with how George Floyd died, what i do not agree with is the media giving him "martyr" and 'hero" statuses.

Anti- Asian hate crimes DO exist. This does not mean a white male police officer who tasers an Asian man because he is resisting arrest is a hate crime. Somebody, ANYBODY, regardless of race, can commit a hate crime against ANYBODY, as long as they admitted it was race based.

Trayvon Martin was shot at. And the police were called on him after he was shot. And the person who shot at him, George Zimmerman, was acquitted of all charges.

Oh, and there are hate crimes against ALL races, not just hate crimes against minorities.
