Pov's are fine too-
but man were those other Roleplays Epic
We had TMWL, Cosmic exploration, all sorts of characters breaking 4th walls. Epic Battles, loads of Lore, and best of all. TONS of FUN

Naw- Thats the thing traditional RP's weren't done in the DM's simply cause DMs didn't exist on imgflip yet. and also they involved more than two people and they take time to create a plot for.

The problem with group RPs is that everyone has to be active at the same time for them to work.

well if everyone signs up at the same time and everyone's frequently active, they should all be able to RP just fine. and not ALL traditional RP's have to be with multiple people, they just typically do.

The other issue with group RPs is that it gets really hard to keep track of what every other person in the RP is doing.

And two-person traditional RPs are honestly really boring. Complex plots don't work well with limited people.

Well people manage to find ways to keep up with that. theres a helpful notification setting you can turn on to help keep track of everyone. "Notify me when anyone comments on an image I already commented on" just my advice when using this don't comment on an image that seems like it will be popular

and hey, Im not saying you have to do that, but on the topic of boring, a POV can often be boring, especially if your scrolling through the stream you made and all you see is "POV" or "WDYD"

but yeah, you don't have to like traditional RP, Im just stating my opinion on what my streams become, the comment was deleted but -naruto- said it best "It's evolving, but backwards"

POVs are only boring if the basis of the POV is boring.
A POV can be about anything, from someone being bullied to a demon breaking out of hell.

I didn't the POV was always boring, I just said often, cause no ones creative and they all just put "you see a kid get beat up" "You see me staring at you" things like that.
and as an owner of this stream I just find it boring constantly approving POVs or WWYDs and I like it when I approve something other than that. but yeah thats really all I have to say on this topic for now

It isn’t POVs that are the problem necessarily, it’s roleplays without a plot. Especially the ones that only exist for one person. Everyone has taken the person specific roleplays here instead of Ask_blogs which clutters it up. Maybe if some extra rules where put in place for what kinds of roleplays where allowed it would work better. Like this a POV I am doing on discord that I would have done here if not for being inactive.
*Five people enter your small village, they ride upon sleek black horses and only the leading rider has their face unhidden. The other four have black cloaks hiding their faces as they ride behind the leader.*
It then proceeds into a complex plot

yeah, thats a good plot there. perfect for a traditional RP

Ask_blogs, the stream I just invited you to mod, is a stream for individual character roleplays. A lot of the boring roleplays here would fit perfectly there.

You realize that with one little twist those basic plot starters could become very interesting RPs, right?

They could, but often they don't it just turns into two people having a convo or one person doing stuff by them selves in a room
