As a libertarian I agree, but you miss the point, its about the individual believing or not believing, rather than letting communistic authoritarians ban religion or authoritarian zealots who enforce a theocracy.
I agree with you, you should be free to say Merry Christmas, but its the government whose behind the banning of this or that Christmas. Not atheist per say, but commies who infiltrated our government.
Lots of atheist push those things. Many atheists are very intolerant of any religion because they aren’t believers and they hold believers in contempt. Really funny when the theory for your existence is “I evolved from a frog” and have no proof of that yet believe that is any more “truth” than religious “fairy tales” of how we got here. No one knows and has no proof so believe what you think is write and respect others right to do the same.
As a theist I agree for the most part, but its a stereotype to think all atheist are the same. I know of Christian zealots that want to shove their religion down our throats, but I know not all Christians are that way. You can find asshole on both sides regardless. I tell you this and I'm no fan of atheist.
Zealots of all ilks, whether religious or non religious are extremists. We can agree on that. I’m not particularly religious but I don’t belittle anyone’s belief or non belief unless they do so.
I can’t think of any I would support. Constitution protects it but it doesn’t protect your feelings from being offended by seeing a cross or Star of David.
