The shutting down of the pipeline got all of the headlines, but what really hurt was shutting down production on federal lands. About 25% of what we use came from federal lands.

XL transports Canadian sand crude....so.....

And it can still be converted into fuel....so....

It would be sending crude from Alberta to processing hubs in the United States.

Which creates and secures jobs for Americans. The oil in which we import. Which is cheaper than importing from some Middle East nation. Which still keeps oil drilled and refined in North America.

So we can go back and forth on this all day, but the XL pipeline is another Biden failure part of his America Last policy.

You don't "mine" oil, you drill for it to find it and when you find it you pump it out of the ground.

I was just trying yo help out a fellow memer. All it would require is for the sign on the right to say "drill for oil". But, if you enjoy having memes that look like thay were made by a 12 year old then go on about your business and have a nice life.

Furthermore, your entire meme is crap. You're making the argument that "supporting the economy" and "producing oil" are mutually exclusive.

How is that possible? Are we ready to flip the switch to eliminate all fossil fuels and go to 100% renewables?

No, not nearly there yet. A more reasonable approach is "all of the above", keeping fossil fuels as an energy source until such time that renewables are efficient, economical, and accessible enough for everyone.

Then you double down by suggesting that the alternative to producing our own oil is to find it from a poor country? C'mon man!
