Back in March, 2020 it was 15 days to flatten the curve. It’s been over 365. The race is over. Hospitals are nowhere near overwhelmed.

I am a Capitalist. Anyone who knows me would tell you that. Just because I see things differently from you, you jump to very biased conclusions.

What political party do you support? Democrats are openly steaming full speed ahead towards socialism.

The last time I looked Democrats were loaning money to private companies to keep them in business, not usurping the source of all production. Perhaps you have a special definition of Socialism that does not fit the classic definition.

Saul Alinsky's 8 steps to socialism:
1 control healthcare - obamacare was an attempt, covid-19 restrictions and mandates are trying to seal that deal.
2 increase poverty - lockdowns and shutdowns are working towards that goal.
3 increase debt - $3 TRILLION in the first 60 days.
4 gun control - you'd have to be blind not to see this one happening
5 increase welfare participation - #2 is hurrying this along
6 education - look at the state of higher education. They've been attacking this for decades.
7. Eliminate religion - no longer taught in schools
8. Class warfare - libs desperately want conservatives to strike the first blow, especially now that they are in power.

I suspect that your labeling me has less to do with the blueprint of a leftist activist and more with the political theatre of right-wing talk radio. You use labels as Rush did, or Sean, or the others without regard. I call BS and stand on a record of over 50-years as a business owner, an employee in private enterprise, and as a public sector manager who worked directly for multiple Republican political appointees and rose to the level of Regional Director. If you think Ed Derwinski tolerated "socialists," you are mistaken. The fact is, I am not some politician who knows that wild accusations go with the territory. I am a socially and politically interested private citizen. I may use labels to help define the political actions of parties and groups. But, I will not dehumanize my fellow citizens. Dehumanization is the first necessary step on the road to hatred. I will not hate people for thinking differently from me.

Right wing talk radio didn't teach Obama's "alinsky tactics 101" class (the actual name of the class) at university of chicago. (Alinsky's step 6)

I've met people who escaped venezuela and I don't want any of their stories coming true here.

People, it has been a very tough fourteen or so months. We have all sacrificed something along the way. The only thing that stands in the way of finishing this on a positive note is partisan politics. Political parties did not do the hard work and make the sacrifices needed to get us to this point. People did. People can see the effort through to the end.
