Right? Take if from me, I've lived in Colorado since 93, Boulder is the Berkeley of the Rockies. Boulder & King Soopers are both gun free zones. That's why the shooter went at least 20 miles from Arvada to Boulder, passing all kinds of stores that he could have shot up just to attack a gun free zone.

what training might that "someone" who has a CNC have? they could have shot innocent people too- not everyone who owns a gun is a sharp shooter. Then what if someone thinks that person is part of the plot and the po-po's shot them... it sounds like an easy fix- more guns but it isnt.

I have a concealed carry permit and a lot of training. Granted not every party that has a concealed carry deserves one I do believe that you should be tested every couple years to make sure that you're proficient at it and not just renew it and assume the person is good. Most good people with a gun when they see a cop put it down and your hands in the air. I can do just as much damage with two handguns as somebody with an assault rifle can. So just banning assault rifles isn't going to fix the problem either.

Ive heard the class is a joke. They gave you the answers. The shooting test was, well, a woman who had NEVER shot a gun passed. The class was taught by a retired big city detective- had great stories but the course was a joke.

Yes, I agree with you on that point. The concealed carry needs to be more strict. Same thing in my class. I was quite shocked.
