I never saw the need. I think the National Guard was more than enough. Leaving the fence up for so long was just political theater. It was to make the country think that the Trump supporters are about to attack at anytime. Republicans, conservatives, libertarians etc have NEVER attacked the White House, the Capitol Bldg or any other government facility. There are only 2 possible exceptions. It is possible that the Capitol riots were Trump supporters but it is also more likely they were not. The other is with that whole Ammon Bundy thing that happened about 10 years or so ago. Some of his supporters supposedly entered a federal building and did pretty much nothing. Just took up space with protest signs. After all the dust settled the FBI had murdered Bundy's nephew in cold blood (there was video and I watched it happen) and I think they killed another family members more recently.

Every other attack on a federal, state or city building has come from the left starting (from what I know) with the Weather Underground in the 1960's.

Octavia you do know that Republicans have lost elections in the past. The only difference between those past elections was Trump didn't lose this election. He was cheated out of it by the global Socialists that pull Biden's puppet strings.

When someone cheats so openly it does have a tendency to really piss off those who got cheated. But, with the possible exception of the Capitol riot, no Republican, Trump supporter, conservative, libertarian, Constitutionalist or anyone else on the right has even talked about making plans to seize the government.

Although we do have a right under the 2nd amendment if no diplomatic solution has been arrived. The government will always try to say that is illegal but that is both the spirit and the letter of the 2nd amendment. The people ALWAYS have the right to fight AGAINST tyranny.
