Technically my mom created me. The universe was never created, it has always existed. Not everything has a begining and end.

I agree with the sentiment that not everything has to come from something else, nor does it need a beginning and an end.

However, on that note, I'm not too sure if I agree with the sentiment that the universe was always here (this is called the "steady-state theory". No joke, you can check it up.) I'm no scientist myself but, according to Britannica, it seems that many scientist during the 1950's and 1960's found many pieces of evidence that contradict the steady-state theory.

It really depends on your definition. Is a theology a religion? If so then no, since they are a-theistic. If you define it more as a way of belief and thinking without specifically worshipping anyone, then yes, it is.
