politics stream sorted by “new” is a total grab bag, and liberal memes never hit the front page and only seldom hit even the top 5 pages when sorted by “hot.” Many users only follow one stream or the other. They’re very different streams, and politics is in desperate need of liberal content. So, I see no reason not to. Plus I always make at least a subtle alteration so it’s not 100% the same meme. This practice has only ever annoyed a small handful of people looking for something to criticize who don’t have anything more interesting to say about my meme.
