The “right” is extremely right. There is not an equal but opposite extreme left party. The democrats are center if there was an extreme left party to counter the current “right.”

The DNC didn't screw Bernie TWICE and opt for Hillary or Biden because of how rad they are.

The likes of Trump and his cult members in and out of politics/government are fairly far right and pushing further right. They are not governing, they are simply trying to undo anything dems did in the past even if it hurts their own constituents, who stupidly vote them in. They are not "conservative" by any definition. The debt and deficit skyrocketed under trump with nary a bridge built. That "infrastructure plan" must be hidden with the replacement for Obamacare.

If you look at the actual leftist parties in Europe, as part of the Progressive Alliance, they are way farther to the left than the U.S. Democratic Party. They are democratic socialist mostly.
